The Working Title was five members, then they were four members,
then they were three members, then they were two members, and then
there was one.
The remaining member is the ever-determined mastermind of Joel
Thomas Hamilton.
(blah blah blah…)
They released the critically acclaimed EP Everyone Here is Wrong in
2003, followed by their first full length album About Face in
2006.
(blah blah blah…)
Joel Hamilton recently released his first self-titled solo EP in
2008 whilst contemplating suicide and then decided instead on
making a record of the best songs the world has ever known and
calling it “Bone Island”.
He has since written way better songs.
People will want to know that The Working Title has toured with
bands such as mewithoutyou, Counting Crows, Circa Survive, Mute
Math, The Goo Goo Dolls, Lovedrug, and Augustana, among many others
in their eight years of existence.
Impressive.
The Working Title’s new album, Bone Island, was a collaborative
effort between Joel Hamilton’s impressively genius song writing
skills and long time friend, Jake Sinclair’s producing
brilliance.
(blah blah blah…)
The new album will inspire you to do something with your life. It
will make you want to wake up every day if simply for the sole
purpose of listening to it again.
Amen.
